Notice is hereby given that the Culver Plan Commission will conduct a public hearing on October 18, 2022, at 6:30 PM in the Town Council Conference Room of the Town Hall, 200 E. Washington Street, Culver, IN 46511 on the following matters:

Changes to the Culver Zoning Ordinance, including:

  • 22-PC-01: Chapter 3, Section 030, R-1 Residential District: Add content to the R-1 Development Standards that reads: “For non-conforming lots of record, the minimum rear yard setback cannot be less than 10 feet.”
  • 22-PC-02: Chapter 7, Section 020, Authority, Part B, add an exemption for Demolitions.
  • 22-PC-03: Chapter 10, Section 020, Notice of Public Hearing, Part A: Change “in the Culver Citizen” to read: in local media sources, such as the Pilot News.”

Information on this matter may be obtained at the Culver Town Hall or by calling 574-842-3140. Written objections to the proposed changes filed with the Plan Commission will be considered, and oral comments concerning these will be heard. This hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.

This meeting will allow for electronic and telephone participation via Microsoft Teams. A link and call-in number will be available one week prior to the meeting and included in the final agenda.
